Author Guidelines

Welcome to the Open Eye Research Forum. We invite scholars, researchers, and academicians to submit original research articles, review papers, and short communications. Please review the following submission guidelines carefully before submitting your manuscript.

Note: All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

1. Scope and Categories

Open Eye Research Forum accepts manuscripts in the following research domains:

  • Original Research Papers
  • Review Articles & Literature Surveys
  • Short Communications & Case Studies
  • Policy Papers & Book Reviews

2. Manuscript Formatting Specifications

Authors are requested to format their manuscripts according to the following academic standards:

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF format.
  • Language: English (standard academic tone).
  • Font Style & Size: Times New Roman, 12 pt. Line spacing: 1.5. Margins: 1 inch on all sides.
  • Title Page: Must include Title, Full Name(s) of Author(s), Affiliation(s), Email Address, and Corresponding Author designation.
  • Abstract: 150 to 250 words summarizing the objective, methodology, findings, and conclusion.
  • Keywords: 4 to 6 relevant keywords separated by commas.

3. Manuscript Structure

Standard empirical research articles should be organized into the following sections:

  1. Title Page & Abstract
  2. Introduction: Problem statement, literature review, and research objectives.
  3. Methodology: Research design, data collection methods, and analytical tools used.
  4. Results & Discussion: Presentation of data with tables/figures followed by critical discussion.
  5. Conclusion & Recommendations: Summary of research impact and future implications.
  6. References: Standard citation format (APA 7th Edition preferred).

4. Citation Style (APA 7th Edition Format)

Please ensure all in-text citations and reference entries adhere strictly to APA formatting:

  • Journal Article Example:
    Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Year). Title of article. Title of Journal, Volume(Issue), Page range. DOI/URL
  • Book Example:
    Author, A. A. (Year). Title of work: Capital letter also for subtitle. Publisher Name.

5. Publication Ethics & Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism Policy: Open Eye Research Forum strictly opposes plagiarism. All manuscripts undergo automated similarity checks (e.g., Turnitin/iThenticate). Similarity index must be below 15% (excluding references).
  • Authorship must be restricted to individuals who contributed substantially to the research.
  • Conflicts of interest must be disclosed upon manuscript submission.
  • Ethical approval must be stated for research involving human subjects or animals.

6. Peer Review Process

We follow a Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure unbiased evaluation:

  1. Initial Screening: Desk review by the Editorial Board for scope and formatting.
  2. Peer Review: Evaluation by independent domain experts (2-3 weeks).
  3. Decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
